CXRMSP - Front Office Supervisor

Rome

CX Living is an integrated platform operating in the living and hospitality sectors, specialising in the development, enhancement and management of innovative housing solutions. Having evolved from CampusX, CX Living is now a rapidly growing organisation operating across various brand verticals dedicated to student housing, hybrid hospitality, long-stay accommodation, flexible living and senior living.

With a portfolio of around 7,000 beds, the company stands out for its vision centred on innovation, sustainability and the creation of inclusive, dynamic environments offering a rich experiential value.

Now we want to take it a step further.

CX The Nexus Rome San Pietro marks the launch of the flagship project for the new CX Hotel & Living brand vertical, a concept that combines short-stay and long-stay accommodation to redefine urban hospitality.

To bring this vision to life, we are looking for people capable of making every stay a positive experience, right from the very first point of contact.

In CX, we call this role a Front Office Agent.

THE CHALLENGE

You’ll be joining the team at CX The Nexus Rome San Pietro, an iconic project designed by Mario Cucinella Architects, in the heart of Rome, just a stone’s throw from the Vatican.

Find out more about the project: https://romasanpietro.cx-thenexus.com/

110 hotel rooms, 184 long-stay rooms, a restaurant, a panoramic rooftop terrace, a gym, community spaces and a conference centre.

An environment where every day can be different from the last.

Your role will be to help ensure everything runs as smoothly as possible, combining a focus on the guest, organisational skills and a business-minded approach.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure a warm welcome and high-quality service for all CX guests.
  • Carry out check-in and check-out procedures in accordance with company standards.
  • Manage and update data relating to guests, bookings, maintenance and charges in the company’s management systems, ensuring its accuracy.
  • Manage invoicing and provide support to the administration department.
  • Use the company’s management systems, such as the PMS, and supervise their correct use by the Front Office team.
  • Monitor expected arrivals and prepare the relevant documentation.
  • Manage email and telephone communications.
  • Manage and update bookings received through various sales channels, responding to enquiries and any complaints.
  • Optimise room allocation and constantly monitor room availability.
  • Coordinate requests to the Housekeeping and Maintenance departments, ensuring that tasks have been completed.
  • In the absence of the Room Division Manager, coordinate the Front Office team, supervise the department’s activities and ensure business continuity.
  • Enforce safety procedures and ensure compliance with the relevant regulations within the premises.

THE MINDSET WE ARE LOOKING FOR

In the Front Office, things don’t always go to plan. The difference lies in knowing how to handle whatever comes up, without losing sight of the people, the priorities and the quality of service.

We’re looking for someone who can keep a clear head during the busiest moments, work as part of a team and take the initiative when needed. Someone who can combine attention to detail with a broad perspective, whilst also keeping an eye out for business opportunities.

The phone might ring, a room might not be ready, and a guest might have an urgent request. You don’t need three pairs of hands, but you do need to know where to start.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • You have more than 3 years’ experience in a front-office role within the hotel or non-hotel sector.
  • You understand the day-to-day operations of a reception and know how to balance service quality with commercial objectives.
  • You are organised, flexible and used to working as part of a team, whilst taking ownership of your role.
  • Are you familiar with hotel PMS systems? Excellent. If you know Mews, even better.
  • You speak and write English well. Other languages? A bonus that never goes amiss.

WHAT WE OFFER

  • A permanent contract.
  • A gross annual salary of between €26,000 and €27,000.
  • Meal vouchers
  • Employee benefits

Accessibility Information

Together with our selected providers, we are committed to ensuring that our services are accessible to people with disabilities. We devote significant resources to ensure that our website and room booking pages are easier to use and more accessible for individuals with disabilities, based on the strong belief that everyone has the right to live with dignity, equality, comfort, and independence.

Along with our partners, we continuously strive to improve the accessibility of our website and the pages for booking rooms and/or purchasing additional products and services related to the stay. We firmly believe it is our collective moral obligation to allow seamless, accessible, and unhindered use, even for those of us with disabilities.

In our ongoing efforts to improve and consistently address accessibility issues, we regularly scan all web pages using accessibility scanners provided by third-party commercial partners to identify and fix any potential accessibility barriers on our site. Despite our efforts to make all our web pages and content fully accessible, some content may not yet have been fully adapted to the strictest accessibility standards. This may be due to not having yet found or implemented the most appropriate technological solution.

Compliance Status

This website and the room booking pages are partially compliant with the technical standard for websites and mobile applications UNI CEI EN 301549, and with the “AA” accessibility level required by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1.

  • Focus contrast: In some cases, when elements receive focus, there may be insufficient contrast between text color and background.
  • Keyboard operability: Some components cannot be operated using only a keyboard.
  • Animated content: Some pages contain animated content that cannot be paused or hidden.
  • Focus visibility: In some pages, the element with active focus is not visually identifiable.
