What is Skillboost Lab?

Is much more than an event

Skillboost Lab is a meeting point between university and the professional world, where students, companies, and ideas tackle real challenges in innovation, sustainability, and digitalization.

Here, theory becomes practice: students work in teams and, in just 3 hours, develop a project to present to a panel of professionals. It’s an intense, hands-on, high-impact experience.

Companies take an active role by proposing real challenges, participating as speakers or judges, and engaging directly with tomorrow’s talent.

The format is open and dynamic: teams form freely, and the best advance to the National Final to compete with winners from across Italy.

For students, it’s an opportunity to build skills and test themselves; for partners, a way to showcase their brand, discover new ideas, and support the growth of the next generation.

The rewards go beyond prizes, they are real opportunities.

What our
CXers say

  • The Skillboost experience at CX demonstrates how student housing can evolve from a mere transitional space into a genuine incubator of opportunities. Despite the tight timeframe, this experience offered an extraordinary acceleration, allowing participants to absorb new knowledge and engage directly with prominent organizations such as Joule by Eni. After all, as ancient philosophy reminds us, "time is not measured in hours, but in the value of the relationships it fosters." In this sense, CX is committed to actively helping 'CXers' break down traditional barriers, building a solid and immediate bridge between student life and the real dynamics of the professional world.

  • What I admire and appreciate about Skillboost Lab is its focus on social responsibility awareness. Through the project ideas, we are encouraged to develop solutions for real problems in our society, including sustainability and practical needs. It can be a business plan that could later be applied in the real world. It pushes us to solve problems not just for the competition, but as a real responsibility toward the community, and that is what I like most about Skillboost.

  • This year, Skillboost brought me moments of joy, anxiety, and frustration, but also many meaningful and rewarding experiences. The most beautiful thing that emerged was the sense of family we created: even though we didn't know each other at all at the beginning, over time we built a special bond. I believe the CX concept naturally encourages us to feel like a family, and this place has truly become a second home. This experience made me realize how capable we are of managing stress and facing challenges together.

  • It is difficult to put into words what Skillboost has been: a truly fantastic experience. From the pitching phase all the way to arriving here in Naples, we had the opportunity to fully challenge ourselves and step out of our comfort zones. It was an intense and fast-paced experience: you had to stay focused, creative, and able to work effectively as part of a team, even with limited time and countless ideas. This journey gave us the chance to build strong connections and get to know one another better. It was an experience that allowed me to broaden my knowledge, learn a great deal, and have fun at the same time.

  • Skillboost is a very nice experience with lots of activities beyond just the challenge itself, like meeting new people and thinking creatively. I really enjoyed both the selection and the finals. The good thing about Skillboost is that it pushes you to perform in a very short time, so you have to stay super focused and creative. Since all teams are creative, you need to push yourself to do better and stand out. Overall, it motivates you to always do your best.

  • It was a really complete experience. We had different teams from various areas, which made the challenge even harder. We needed to follow stricter rules, and our solutions had to be more detailed. Overall, the experience helps students understand real-life situations and provides a simulation of what the world outside university is really like.

Accessibility Information

Together with our selected providers, we are committed to ensuring that our services are accessible to people with disabilities. We devote significant resources to ensure that our website and room booking pages are easier to use and more accessible for individuals with disabilities, based on the strong belief that everyone has the right to live with dignity, equality, comfort, and independence.

Along with our partners, we continuously strive to improve the accessibility of our website and the pages for booking rooms and/or purchasing additional products and services related to the stay. We firmly believe it is our collective moral obligation to allow seamless, accessible, and unhindered use, even for those of us with disabilities.

In our ongoing efforts to improve and consistently address accessibility issues, we regularly scan all web pages using accessibility scanners provided by third-party commercial partners to identify and fix any potential accessibility barriers on our site. Despite our efforts to make all our web pages and content fully accessible, some content may not yet have been fully adapted to the strictest accessibility standards. This may be due to not having yet found or implemented the most appropriate technological solution.
