CXHO - Finance Controller

Campus X is an Italian company operating in the hybrid hospitality sector (www.cx-place.com) that offers its guests a full-service, international living experience within its facilities.

We are looking for a Finance Controller for our Head Office in Via Abruzzi 25, Rome.

If you want to contribute to our project, are a green thinker capable of thinking outside the box, and are a citizen of the world ready to take on a new challenge, all you have to do is come on board and get to know each other better. You could be the talent we are looking for!

FINANCE CONTROLLER TO-DO LIST: 

  • You will provide support in monthly closings and reconciliations with the aim of acquiring managerial autonomy in the activity;
  • You will supervise the correct allocation by time and cost account on Purchase Orders;
  • You will provide support in budgeting and forecasting activities;
  • You will collaborate in the analysis of fixed and variable costs;
  • You will process, monitor and document company results and performance in relation to KPIs;
  • You will provide support in analysing profitability and return on investment for each Business Unit;
  • You will analyse the differences between what was planned and what was achieved, identifying the factors and causes involved, proposing improvements in company management and making proposals for medium-term strategy.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in Economics or equivalent
  • Preferably at least three years' experience in the same role or in a leading consulting/auditing firm
  • Excellent knowledge of Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access)
  • Solid foundation in general accounting, in-depth knowledge of Excel, results-oriented, knowledge of accounting management software such as Netsuite or other similar ERPs preferred
  • Excellent knowledge of English
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work in a team, precision and organisational autonomy
