CXHO - Digital Builder

Rome

AI · Automation · Cloud · APIs · Emerging Tech

CX Living is an integrated platform operating in the living and hospitality sectors, specialising in the development, enhancement and management of innovative housing solutions. Having evolved from CampusX, CX Living is now a rapidly growing organisation operating across various brand verticals dedicated to student housing, hybrid hospitality, long-stay accommodation, flexible living and senior living.

With a portfolio of around 7,000 beds, the company stands out for its vision centred on innovation, sustainability and the creation of inclusive, dynamic environments that offer a rich experiential value.

Now we want to build something more: the digital heart of CX. And to do this, we’re not simply looking for someone to manage the technology.

We’re looking for someone who wants to build it. At CX, we call this person a Digital Builder.

Someone curious enough to ask:

“Can we do this?”

And technically savvy enough to answer:

“Let’s try and build it.”

THE CHALLENGE

You’ll be joining CX’s IT team, but you won’t just be managing systems.

You’ll have problems to solve and ideas to turn into solutions.

You’ll be working on:

  • Rapid application development using AI-assisted development and Vibe Coding;
  • designing AI assistants, chatbots and agents integrated with WhatsApp and other channels;
  • workflows, integrations and automations using n8n;
  • cloud-native, containerised, scalable and secure architectures;
  • system integrations based on an open and API-first approach;
  • analysis and feasibility studies for digital signature, identity and compliant data retention solutions;
  • RFID, NFC, access control, IoT and smart building technologies

One day you might build an AI-based prototype; the next, integrate platforms via APIs; and the day after that, design the architecture for a new digital service or figure out how to bring a digital experience into the physical world.

You won’t be here just to maintain what already exists.

You’ll be here to help build what doesn’t yet exist.

THE MINDSET WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We have no intention of publishing an endless checklist of programming languages, frameworks and certifications.

Technologies change far too quickly. We’re much more interested in understanding how you think when faced with a problem you’ve never encountered before.

You might be the right person for us if:

  • you know how to use AI to build and refine code, quickly turning an idea into something that works;
  • APIs, the cloud, containers and automation are part of the way you think about technology;
  • for you, AI isn’t just a tool to be used, but something to be integrated into products, services and processes;
  • when you discover a new technology, you’re keen to try it out;
  • you know how to research, experiment and find your own way forward;
  • you can tell the difference between an interesting prototype and a solution that can actually go into production;
  • you consider security, privacy and reliability to be part of the design, not something to be added at the end;
  • you’d rather build a working demo than prepare fifty slides to explain how it might work.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Between 2 and 6 years’ experience in software consultancy, tech companies or start-ups, gained whilst working on a variety of projects and tackling real-world challenges;
  • Rather than the exact number of years, we’re interested in what you’ve learnt to do: understanding a problem, exploring a technology, building something quickly, validating it and figuring out how to take it to the next level.

GROW WITH US

At CX, we don’t want your progression to depend simply on the length of time you’ve spent with the company.

We want the value you create to make the difference.

The more you demonstrate your ability to turn complex problems into simple solutions, to come up with ideas, develop them and bring them to fruition, the greater the scope of responsibility you’ll be able to take on.

The path isn’t set in stone. We’ll build it

NO PERFECT PATH REQUIRED

We don’t believe that talent, experience and personal growth always follow the same path.

Age, qualifications or previous experience only tell part of the story.

What matters most to us is how you tackle something you don’t yet know, how quickly you can learn, and what you’re able to build with what you learn.

SHOW US WHAT YOU BUILD

Tell us what you can build.

Send us your CV.

But if you really want to tell us who you are, show us something that reflects your way of thinking.

A personal project, a GitHub repository, an app, an automation script, an AI experiment, or an architectural design you’ve created.

Because a CV tells us where you’ve worked.

We want to find out what you’re capable of building.

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Gross annual salary between €32,000 and €45,000
  • permanent contract;
  • meal vouchers;
  • employee benefits;
  • supplementary health insurance.

Salaries are determined on the basis of objective organisational criteria, regardless of gender.

Don't just run IT. Build what comes next.

Accessibility Information

Together with our selected providers, we are committed to ensuring that our services are accessible to people with disabilities. We devote significant resources to ensure that our website and room booking pages are easier to use and more accessible for individuals with disabilities, based on the strong belief that everyone has the right to live with dignity, equality, comfort, and independence.

Along with our partners, we continuously strive to improve the accessibility of our website and the pages for booking rooms and/or purchasing additional products and services related to the stay. We firmly believe it is our collective moral obligation to allow seamless, accessible, and unhindered use, even for those of us with disabilities.

In our ongoing efforts to improve and consistently address accessibility issues, we regularly scan all web pages using accessibility scanners provided by third-party commercial partners to identify and fix any potential accessibility barriers on our site. Despite our efforts to make all our web pages and content fully accessible, some content may not yet have been fully adapted to the strictest accessibility standards. This may be due to not having yet found or implemented the most appropriate technological solution.

Compliance Status

This website and the room booking pages are partially compliant with the technical standard for websites and mobile applications UNI CEI EN 301549, and with the “AA” accessibility level required by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1.
In particular, the compliance level of this website is constantly monitored through the tools provided by:

https://pagespeed.web.dev/

Non-accessible Content

Despite our efforts to ensure the accessibility of the website and booking pages, we are aware of some limitations we are working to resolve. Below is a description of the known limitations. Please contact us if you encounter an issue not listed below.

  • Image text alternatives: Some images do not have meaningful text alternatives for users.
  • Reading order: Due to the modular structure of some pages, the reading order of elements may not match their visual order.
  • Focus contrast: In some cases, when elements receive focus, there may be insufficient contrast between text color and background.
  • Keyboard operability: Some components cannot be operated using only a keyboard.
  • Animated content: Some pages contain animated content that cannot be paused or hidden.
  • Focus visibility: In some pages, the element with active focus is not visually identifiable.
  • Language accessibility: Some elements display text or accessible names only in certain languages.
  • Assistive technology: Assistive technologies may not always correctly announce messages.
