Campus X is an Italian company operating in the hybrid hospitality sector (www.cx-place.com) offering its guests an international experience within its facilities.
We are looking for a Front Office Supervisor for the new CX Modena | Crocetta (Via Fanti), scheduled to open in September 2025: a modern, state-of-the-art facility designed to become a landmark in the city of Modena.
The new CX will rise on two towers: Tower A (7 floors) and Tower B (6 floors), offering a total of 366 beds, dedicated to students and young people with long-stay and short-stay solutions.
FRONT OFFICE SUPERVISOR TO DO LIST:
As Front Office Supervisor you will be a key pillar of our facility, working to ensure that every operation runs smoothly. In addition to managing the day-to-day activities of the front office, you will play a crucial role in managing bookings and optimising business processes:
- You will provide attentive customer service to all CX guests.
- You will check-in and check-out according to company standards.
- You will be responsible for correct data entry (customer information, bookings, maintenance, charges and the like) within the various management systems.
- You will take care of invoicing and support the administration.
- You will schedule and distribute room keys.
- You will notify expected arrivals and prepare documentation for them.
- You will manage App, e-mail and switchboard.
- You will notify housekeeping and maintenance of incoming requests and check that they have been carried out.
- You will take care of the conclusion of rental contracts with return of the security deposit.
- Together with your team you will be in charge of managing and supervising the in-house bar - cafeteria area
- You will be familiar with, observe and enforce all safety regulations of the facility.
- You will enter and amend bookings received through all sales channels and respond correctly to complaints and information.
- You will manage the sale and organisation of group bookings.
- You will optimise the allocation of rooms and keep the room inventory under control at all times.
- You will be proactive in selling events and organising them.
- You will support in the development and feeding of the CRM.
- You will manage any customer complaints (online and offline).
- You will implement sales strategies in coordination with the Sales & Distribution department.
- You will carry out Upselling works and promotion of extra services and events.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Diploma or degree
- Experience in Reservation/ Front Office and/or Sales, in the hotel or non-hotel sector
- Strong commercial attitude and customer orientation
- Excellent organisational skills and predisposition to work in a team
- Flexibility
- Knowledge of hotel PMS (knowledge of Mews will be considered a plus)
- Excellent knowledge of English, both written and spoken; knowledge of additional languages will be an asset
