The evolution of the company, while maintaining its original ideals, takes shape for the first time in Turin in a new structure, which stems from the desire to create a focal point facing the city: the structure is not a simple hotel or student house. The goal of the CX is to have a common ground interconnected with the city: hence the choice to think of large open windows visible from the outside, a ground floor that can be used not only by users but also by hotel guests and passing citizens.
The strong point of the new CX is to create a new community of students and guests who use the common spaces freely and flexibly: from the lounge areas to the gymnasium, from the study room to the kitchen, to the panoramic rooftop on the 8th floor, from which there is a breathtaking view of the Po River and the hills of Turin.
The gem of this facility is then a hybrid space mix of laundry and entertainment room, a sort of Dark room on the 1st floor where students can organize events or private parties or simply relax while waiting their turn in the laundry room. In every corner of CXTurin I Regina, the rigor of the existing architecture is broken up, leaving room for an explosion of materials and colors and a renewed informality.
The furnishings in the common areas combine iconic pieces of Italian design and manufacturing, creating a continuous contrast between pop and soft colors.
The explosive mood of the common areas then finds peace in the rooms, where the intent is to recreate for each guest a familiar and personal environment that can be widely personalized.
