We are looking for a Construction Manager for our Head Office in Rome.

CONSTRUCTION MANAGER'S TO DO LIST
- You will be the project referent for corporate management;
- You will analyze subcontractors and evaluate their bids;
- You will interface with suppliers and subcontractors;
- You will manage relationships with the client and its consultants (PM, designers, DL, CSP,CSE,RSPP)
- You will give support to the team (designers, planners, construction/site managers, Interior Design Manager , Maintenance Manager);
- You will liaise with technical contacts of properties and developers of real estate operations in the country;
- You will plan the job order in terms of time and methods and check the appropriateness of improving executive proposals, within the budget;
- You will manage the technical and bureaucratic aspects necessary to initiate and execute the construction of facilities and related works;
- You will ensure that work schedules and planned progress are completed;
- You will review each project thoroughly to schedule final results and estimate costs;
- You will supervise all construction to monitor compliance with building and safety codes;
- You will ensure a constant, operational presence on the job site;
- You will monitor the financial progress of the job order-cost tracking and, with any related preventive or recovery actions;
- You will draft time schedules for internal project and site phases;
- You will be responsible for producing progress reports with constant monitoring of the job site;
- You will collect and verify site documentation;
- You will manage non-conformities, work delays, emergencies and all other problems that may arise;
- You will ensure compliance with regulations in both construction execution and safety.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or architecture
- Good knowledge of the English language
- Full autonomy in planning and managing a job order
- Scheduling and control of technical activities
- Ability to engage in negotiations
- Knowledge and experience in the construction industry
- At least 5 years' experience in the same role and in operations related to student housing and/or hotel developments
- Predisposition to business process improvement and development
- Excellent knowledge of Office, MS Project, Autocad, MS Excel
